HP 2000-329WM Laptop: Reviews not forthcoming

If you’re looking for a new laptop amongst the myriad available and are wondering what to head for you might be interested in the HP 2000-329WM laptop. This looks to be a pretty decent general purpose laptop so we’ll give you a rundown of the specs to give you an idea what it offers.

This is a stylish-looking and also inexpensive laptop, comes with all the usual features and some additional ones and some good software. HP is known for reliability and this would be a good option for each day use. Main specs include a15.6-inch HD BrightView LED-backlit display, a 1.60GHz AMD dual-core E-350 processor and AMD Radeon HD 6310 Discrete-Class Graphics. There’s also 3GB DDR3 SDRAM internal memory (expandable to 8GB), SuperMulti DVD burner and built-in 802.11b/g/n wireless LAN. The 320GB SATA hard drive will enable you to store up to 213,000 photos, 91,000 songs or around 168 hours of HD video so is more than adequate for most people’s needs.

Additional features include an HP webcam, 3 USB 2.0 ports, headphone-in, microphone-out, RJ-45 Ethernet port and VGA port. The 6-cell lithium-ion battery should give you about five and a half hours of performance. Genuine Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit Edition software is included and also Microsoft Office Starter 2010. This doesn’t include PowerPoint and Outlook but does include reduced functionality Microsoft Word and Excel. You’ll also get a 60-day trial of Norton Internet Security 2012 and Windows includes back up and restore functions to create safety duplicates of your important files.

Taking a look around there seems to be a distinct lack of reviews on this laptop, which is surprising considering it appears to be a solid, reasonably priced choice for general computing needs.
